Have You Ever Shopped Yourself?
Christine Boulton
You shop the competition but have you ever shopped yourself? I was reading an interest story about a hotel executive that, as an experiment, went to check into one of her hotels in uncomfortable shoes with a suitcase loaded with bricks. You know what; she immediately set up a program to better train the bellman to be more sensitive to the needs of women travelers. Hmmm, what could you learn?

Clients From Hell
Christine Boulton
I cannot stop laughing! I found a blog called Clients from Hell. It is for the graphic design /web design industry so I relate pretty well to just about every post, but I think you will too. What I want is one for us!

Why Are You Carrying The Entire Marketing Load?
Christine Boulton
We are all guerrilla marketers. We have to be. There is no more cost effective way for a small business to get ahead. We will always have more time than money. Do You Think Like Your Bride?
Christine Boulton
For years now I have been telling you to think like a bride; the question is: are you thinking like the right bride? If you have ever heard me speak then you know that one of the first questions I ask is “Who is your target market?” followed immediately by “Brides is not the correct answer.”

David's Bridal Survey and Bowie Bride
Christine Boulton
I have two rather different takes on what brides are saying this month; the annual survey from David’s bridal and a discussion on the blog Bowie Bride. The former is numbers and trend and the later is an eye opening laugh fest of brides take on “Say Yes To the Dress.” So yes, both have a loose connection to bridal gowns but they are completely different in point of view and tone.

Wedding Trends for 2010
Christine Boulton
As always, I’ll here to wade through the deep waters to bring you the good stuff. Just like every other year there are articles everywhere telling you what the top trends will be for the New Year. One says this, another contradicts it. Then there is always that one article that pops up on at least a dozen different site that says the exact same thing, word for word.
